Many of our adult professional patients prefer to have their orthodontic treatment without showing off a smile full of brackets and wires. To help patients achieve healthy, straight teeth, we offer Invisalign invisible braces.
Invisalign aligners are completely clear, thin BPA-free plastic trays that gradually move teeth into alignment using constant low-force pressure. Each set of aligners are designed to be worn for about two weeks when you will trade them for the next set in the series.
Because Invisalign aligners are removable, they will work best for patients who are compliant and committed to wearing their aligners for about 22 hours per day. Leaving them in their case will not move your teeth.
You will be able to speak normally, and you can remove your Invisalign to clean your teeth. Brushing, flossing and professional cleans will be all you need to keep your teeth healthy during orthodontics. A dedication to clean teeth will prevent decay from sweets and acid getting caught between the aligner and your teeth.
We also offer Smile Fast as part of our cosmetic dentistry programme in Dee Why, NSW. While we do use brackets and wires, Smile Fast is excellent for cosmetic straightening of teeth and happens in as little as six to nine months.
